mysql own users seem to have stopped working
Hi all..
I have had this DB running a few web apps for year or so, the server took powercut, and when it came back up, mysql wouldn't start up again.
initially, it couldn't find the binary log, so i copied an old one to the file name it was looking for,
which seemed to allow it to get to the next issue - log enclosed.
as far as i can tell, its not allowing any users to log in. the web app, the admin user nor any of the built in users.
any advice would be gratefully received.
