Subtracting DateTime fields
I am somewhat new to this, and I am requesting assistance subtracting datetime field in MySQL version 3.23. I have looked numerous examples and documentation, but it seems many of the built in functions are only available in the newer version of MySQL.
I am attempted to get the time difference (if possible in hours) between the current system date/time (using NOW() or SYSDATE()) and a datetime value stored in the table such as 2006-10-15 10:45:12. What functions are available in version 3.23 to calculate the difference in hours?
