innodb?
I'm a little bit confused!
I'm running Ubuntu Hoary at home and to allow foreign keys and innodb tables I simply unmarked the line "skip-innodb" in my.cnf. All's well, I use foreign key and restraints and are a happy fellow with my database.
Anyway, trying to accomplish the same with my Suse 9.2 machine running 4.0.21 will not do. I examine my.cnf and can't find any "skip-innodb". What I do find is a line telling me to uncomment the trailing lines if I'm going to use Innodb tables. well, sounds great, I happily uncomment these lines and then the funs over.
mysqld refuse to start telling me:
050323 07:15:43 mysqld started
050323 7:15:43 /usr/sbin/mysqld: unknown variable 'innodb_data_home_dir=/var/lib/mysql/'
050323 07:15:43 mysqld ended
Feels like I'm missing something trivial here..
Regards
Stefan
