i'm a little lost on how to do this...

hi.

i have data for 6 movies in my databases. i have an app that reports on them just fine.

i've now been asked to make a demo version of this app with dummy data to show clients. purpose is to not expose another client's real data but we do want to show off the app.

so i figured i can take the existing data for all 6 movies, extract it ( but to where, another database?..i do have one )...but then do i rename the movie ids?....and then put it back in. this is where i'm a little lost on what to do.

but i also wanted to multiply all the aggregate data by like 50 or so so the numbers look more impressive to the client.

am i on the right track with how i want to do it or is there an easier, more elegant way?

and if i am, how do i write this sql statement?

select *
from myAggregatedDataTable
where movieID = 'movie1' and 'movie2'....'movie6'

i hate being such a newbie. but thanks for any help in advance.
