Don't know if anyone can help.
I support my companies software which is an asp based app that connects to a backend db.
One option for installing is to use MYSQL as the backend database. This worked fine up to MYSQL v4.0.*
Since 4.1* (incl the v5 beta) the connection from the asp login page to the MYSQL db just hangs. The database gets created OK etc but the connection from asp fails.
Our developers used the MyOLEDB connector and I wonder if this is the problem. I can't find any newer version of this on the web than v3.0 and wonder if the newer versions of MYSQL are no longer using this ?
Can anyone help.
