mysql mysql-4.1.10-win32 problem

I installed <b> mysql-4.1.10-win32</b>in the place of mysql 4 beta ..after my installation i am getting the message which when i try to connect php into mysql the message is
Warning: mysql_connect(): Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client
please help me
