Re: Importing Flat Files to Tables

I sorted this out ...... it is

INSERT INTO table-name VALUES
(data1,data2,data3,etc),
(data1,data2,data3,etc),
(data1,data2,data3,etc);
COMMIT;

But i am now having a problem with data values that have apostrophes in them like ...

J'ai or O'Brien ..... it doesn't like the apostrophe so i believe that a back slash will resolve this \ ..... but it doesn't for me !!

Does anyone have any ideas ??
