Stored Procs
I have two questions regarding MySQL that hopefully someone can answer.
1) Beginning at what version does MySQL support Stored Procs?
2) Before Stored Procs, was there anything similar in use or the method of getting data done so via SQL?
I am currently a .NET developer and I am looking into the feasibility of dumping my MS SQL server for MySQL. I rely heavily upon stored procs. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, I noticed that ver 5 will have stored procs but it is still in beta. Any ideas on when it will be released for production?
