'Catastrophic failure' when connecting to MySQL v5.0 using ODBC v3.51.11

Hi,
I ve been using MySQL v4.1.07 for 2 years. I have no problem with the ODBC connector when connecting to MySQL from C++ Builder and recently I decided to upgrade version 5.0 because of stored procedures. I know it is a beta version...and I started to have big problems with MySQL.
What is the problem?..I am using MS Windows XP Pro. It seems that ODBC v3.51.11 have no problem with itself. I am testing the connection and ODBC connector says that:'Successfull connection'. Thats OK...good...and I am trying to connect by using same ODBC connector inside my C++ Builder program..this time it says 'catastrophic failure'. What is going on? What is the problem? Can anybody help me ..?
