mysql command line window blows out...

I inadvertatly deleted the "mysql" database which stores the privileges. So, I reinstalled mysql 4.11. I probably did not need to do all that, but I did. I did not change any passwords to the original login. Now, when I try to run the mysql command line to create databases, tables, etc. the command line window blows out and exits. This happens when I type in my password and hit enter. So now I can't even get into the right place to create any databases.

The .err file in the data directory says this:

050502 10:02:11 InnoDB: Started; log sequence number 0 446292
C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 4.1\bin\mysqld-nt: ready for connections.
Version: '4.1.11-nt' socket: '' port: 3306 Official MySQL binary

That's it. I have no clue what happened or why it's doing this. Any body with some advice will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Rone
