Database Design Issue

I'm currently designing an supplemental inventory system. My issue is that I have a SKU table that needs to handle sub-SKUs of the same type (i.e., a SKU can be contained within a SKU which can be contained in a SKU until the final product is completely defined). I need some advise on how to handle the table design for this scenario. Any recommendations would be very helpful.
