shopping carts can't find mysql
Hello, I've just installed the mysql essential on a winxp machine, as well as, mysql administrator and mysql query browser. I have run both of those apps and I can see the mysql installation is up and running and I can query it, so on and so forth.
I am also trying to install xcart and oscommerce in the same machine. When the installation steps check for the mysql installation, apparently, neither of the apps I am installing can see the mysql service. I am quite sure that is the problem, but I just don't know how to solve it.
