need to convert my database to unicode. please help!

I am very sorry to bother everyone.

I just finished migrating my entire blog to Wordpress.
Unfortunately, I didn't realize until after that all the collaction settings are latin1_swedish_ci.
I need them to be unicode. (I have Japanese language posts.)

If I don't touch the database, it is fine. It will store Japanese messages and read then. When I look at the data through phpmyadmin or when I try and export the database and reimport the character sets get messed up. I would like to convert the database entirely to unicode so that when I do export/import my data won't get corrupted.

Since my current data is unicode saved in latin1_swedish_ci, I assume I am going to lose that. There are only a few posts, so I should be ok. But how do I convert the entire database to use unicode from now on so I wont have any troubles? (without losing all of the english posts?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
