WinXP client not doing anything...
I am telnetting to a Win XP machine. mysqladmin works fine. I can get the status of the server, version, show databases, etc. However when I type: mysql --user=root --password
nothing happens. The command prompt just hangs. Is something popping up on the screen that I can't see because I am telneting to the machine? What else would cause the command to hang?
