Remote Access/Copying tables

This is my first site involving MySQL, so please be patient. I've yet to really expiriment with it yet, so all helpful input is definately appreciated!

The situation:

Server in Texas, hosting a gaming server.
Server in Alaska, next to me, hosting the site for the game and a TINY amount of Bwidth (or I'd just run from here) and the site.

The goal:

To be able to track player stats on an already setup MySQL on the site. The stats are currently all on the Texas server, and need to stay there for Bwidth reasons.

Is it possible? And if so, which I'm assuming so, how would I begin? I'm using PHP, if that helps. Basically, my ideas so far are to dump the necessary data into a .txt on the Texas server, and just have the web server pull data from that/the entire file if necessary, or preferrably just remotely access the Texas DB.
