Re: How to get 'shell >' ?
Hi,
I guess I should have mentioned that the "mysql>" does indeed appear, and that the databases can be manipulated from there. The actual name and password is entered, but I didn't use them here.
It is Unix (Mac OS 10.3), and everything works. I get the ~name$ prompt; as this has never been mentioned in anything I've read, is there a way to get the "shell>" prompt -- or is it the same thing?
Thanks,
Joe
