Hi, Guys,

I am a new user of mysql. I am wondering how and where the real mysql database tables are stored? I would like to access the tables without login into mysql or use any mysql command. Do you think I can do that? I noticed that tables are stored in .myi and .myd format through myisam storage engine. Do you know where this .myi and .myd stored? How can I view them? Using a text editor?

Thank you.
