Difference between client and Server time

There is an 11 hour difference between the server time and the client application. THere is a date/time (modification_date_time) field in the table which upon modification, use MYSQL date_time function to insert the modification date.

I need to generate a recordset based upon the client time i.e +11 hours. How do i go about bridging this gap of 11 hours (which mostly ends up change in date too due to that 11 hour difference).

Any suggestions in this regard.

Thanks in advance
