Startup Error

I am getting the following errors upon trying to startup the mysql server:

E:\mysql\mysql server 4.1\bin\
E:\mysql\mysql server 4.1\bin\>mysqld-nt --console

Now this used to work...then all of the sudden it doesn't and I get the following errors:

050616 15:15:27 InnoDB: Started; log sequence number 0 43634
mysqld-nt: ready for connections.
Version: '4.1.12a-nt' socket: '' port: 0 Official MySQL binary
050616 15:15:27 [ERROR] TCP/IP, --shared-memory, or --named-pipe should be configured on NT OS
050616 15:15:27 [ERROR] Aborting

050616 15:15:27 InnoDB: Starting shutdown...
050616 15:15:29 InnoDB: Shutdown completed; log sequence number 0 43634
050616 15:15:29 [Note] mysqld-nt: Shutdown complete

Now, I've done as much research on the problem I could and it seems that this might be caused from a missing mysql.sock file. I did a search on my entire system and I can't find a mysql.sock file anywhere.

With that any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
