Hi Jay,

The upshot of this was reasonable. The INSERT into MaxCrossRefs took just over 4 minutes, the creation of the PK on that table took 2 and a half minutes and the final setting of the ACTIVE column value in FI_CROSS_REF_DATA_IDENTIFIERS took just over 24 minutes. But every hour I get a small subset of updated records for this table in a file grouped by ASSET_ID. I can manage this subset faster I hope.

I have started a separate thread on this same table, in this case reconciling the records in it with a full new set of data delivered every week. This is proving difficult too.
