Arrays in table fields?

I have fields in my table such as name, password, ect, but is there a way to make an array a field in the table? I am trying to track things a person gets, so how would I do it. I am making a little game to teach myself networking and sql in java, and you can collect cards. I would like to add them to an array under a field in their sql entry. Is this possible?(I am new to SQL, Ive only been looking over it for the past 3 hours or so). Thanks.
