Connecting to user Thru MySql Prompt

Hi,

I am using MySql 4.1 windows version. In MySql server i have 2 Users. When i try to connect mysql thru "MySql Commandline Client", by default its asking me password for root user & connecting. I need to change user from there OR System needs to ask Username instead of asking password directly...Please help me out.
