Restoring 4.0.15 to 4.1.12

Hi,

I am new to MySQL and am trying to restore a batabase. I have a 150MB backup file as a .sql script. I have been told that this has come from a 4.0.15 MySQL datasource.

I have installed the current MySQL release (4.1.12) and am trying to restore the database through the Administrator. I click on the 'Start Restore' button and a dialog pops up saying that it is analysing the backup file.

The totla number of bytes is shown to be 154039170. The number of bytes processed gets up to 327667 and then it just stops. Nothing actually crashes, it just stops. I click on 'Close' and I am back to where I started. I have tried checking the 'Ignore Errors' checkbox, but that does not help me here.

Does anyone have any suggestions or help to offer me??
