MySQL Command Client v.s mysqladmin.exe?

What exactly is the difference between the MySQL Command Line Client and mysqladmin.exe?
The reason I ask is because I can login and use the command line client with no problems on Win2k, but if I try to run the mysqladmin.exe file it just opens a window and then closes real fast.
Is this a problem? Can't I just administer the DB from the command line client? (this is all on my local machine, btw)
