Well, I appreciate your help, but I guess I'm not understanding where/how to input what you wrote. i tried and got errors saying it was input incorrectly.
MySQL is running. All's fine. I have the book, PHP and MySQL for Dummies. Apparently i'm too dumb for even that book. I'm supposed to be testing mysql by being able to pull up a table with mysql_up.php at the end of my domain name... I belive. But i can't make it work. If any of you have that book, could you explain that page to me? I believe it's in section 3...it's right after 'testing php'. It's 'testing my sql'.
<sigh> tired, feeling dumber than dumb, and oh did I mention, tired?
