4.0.18 sparc runs fine, 4.1.12 sparc won't start
I'm a bit puzzled. I'm installing mysql-max-4.1.12-sun-solaris2.9-sparc on, naturally, a sun SPARC server. it's an older 32 bit platform, and i know i've downloaded the right tarball. i'm currently running mysql-max-4.0.18-sun-solaris2.9-sparc, no problems whatsoever.
however, when i try to start up 4.1.12, i get the following error:
ld.so.1: ./mysql: fatal: /usr/lib/libCstd.so.1: bad ELF flags value: 256
i'm baffled. there have been no OS changes between the time 4.0.18 was installed and now. i'm essentially not doing anything different - which leads me to believe that something may be fubar in the 4.1.12 build.
thoughts?
