I'm used to the data dictionary in Oracle and I'm *really* happy that you're adding the schema info into 5.0. Sorry for the sarcasim in my previous post. Lately when I pose a question here I get told to upgrade! (ok, not always) I'm gonna install 5.0 on my workstation and play with it and wonder when I'll ever really get to use it. We're a 4.0 house and it's very frustrating but improving my joins (just ask Jay!) :)

So here's a question for you. When I do a show columns from tablename, I get a bunch of junk. I just want the field names and show columns like 'fiel%' from tablename doesn't work. PHP probably has a function to deal with this but I want SQL to do it.
