MySQL 5 for production

I heard that MySQL 5 is still experimental/beta. I would like to know how far it is wise to use it in a production environment. In addition to the new features, I see there is no need to do a migration from v4 to v5 in future if we use v5. Has anyone used v5 in a production environment? Or simply go with v4?
