how to load non english numbers + date-format ?

Hi,

I was searching the web a lot and the documentation, but I can't find real understandable syntax samples for loading other number and date-format than american.

A simple sample for how to load a number like this: 1.234,56 into a number column.

is this column-format ok for above number ?: DOUBLE( 10,2 ) ?

Even so I can't find a matching chapter in documentation about number or date formating for loading.
