Looks like a MySQL Notifier bug; quite a few like the one you reported have been reported.

Me, I'd uninstall all traces of MySQL including Notifier, then reinstall MySQL without Notifier, which is no more than a convenience tool, and evidently in some contexts more trouble than it's worth.
