Problem with Accented characters while migrating SQL server to MySql server

Hi I had started to Migrate an old website SQL server database to MySql because we are changing server soon.

The migrate work almost perfectly, except one thing. All data with accented character has been truncated.

My Sql server database was all in SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS and we convert the mysql database in latin1 - default collation, but it didn't work, same thing with utf8_general_ci encoding.

Source: Microsoft SQL Server 9.0.3042

Target: MySQL 5.1.56

If you can help me I would really apreciate it!
