Hello, I am fairly new at data bases, I am creating a inventory list data base so that the main office can access it on our parts room, add and subtract parts going out etc. the issue I am having is some of this parts have 2 or 3 different parts numbers and I need to add both numbers to the data base. For example I will have a part number that will be 20-10000 and another part number 100-10000-1 they are the same part but for 2 different companies. I know if I put “-”
MySQL workbench 6.1 will removed anything behind the “-” as well as blanks and the “/”, is there any character that I can use to put them in the same line for the part number without putting them together so it can be seen as 2 different part number but the same part??
