I posted on to the Charset forum, but after it didn't apepar I thought maybe I posted it to the wrong forum,and tried here instead. I cannot seem to find the psot either on this forum or on the charset forum (http://forums.mysql.com/list.php?103).

A search also does not show the posts (it only shows these):
http://forums.mysql.com/search.php?10,search=,author=Dean+Richert,page=1,match_type=ALL,match_dates=30,match_forum=ALL,match_threads=0

Should I post it again and where? It is a question about which charset and collation I need to use based on certain crtieria.
