I finally managed to post (after 4 days of trying) to the newbie section of this forum.
I tried posting several times and discovered that if I post without links, my posts appear immediately. But if I post with links, I get the moderation message and my posts will never appear.
I had two links in my post. One to the mysql docs, and another to a stack overflow question. (Are links just not allowed or is stack overflow objectionable on this forum? I have seen other links to mysql docs here, but curiously a link to this forum's search feature also prevented my post from appearing.)
