Got it!

Just need to log in as root. Seems like my other database users somehow got wiped out. When I log in as root, I can see everything. My ODBC setup was also broken because it was not logging in as root, so that was complicating matters. Changed that to use root as well.

That's enough for tonight, but I need to figure out how to set up regular users again so my programs don't have to log in as root.

I'm guessing I can find tutorials on this.
