SQL agyp error?

Hi,

When I try to access my website's blog, I'm getting a "Database connection error (agyp): Could not connect to MySQL" error message.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? What is an 'AGYP' database connection error? When I searched for agyp on google, I found nothing, could it be an acronym for something else?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
