Thanks Rick for your help.
I can understand that I can use switch --routines, -R to dump routines/ procedures. But I have running database and want to take backup of only functions/ stored procedures. I have mentioned mysqldump command which uses --routine switch which still gives error. Can you please suggest how can I get rid of this error.
