Can't install Mysql 5.0.41 on windows 7 Ultimate

Trying to install Mysql 5.0.41 with 1.0.8 Wizard on Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1, after several steps I get the message "Could not connect to the Service Control Manager. Error 0". Can anyone explain what to do?
