As I explained above, I wanted to achieve the result without creating a familytree table since I am not having the permission to create an extra table.

Displaying the top most Parent record with a parent_id having NULL and then displaying the child records below for each parent without the help of any "order" or "breadcrumbs (for GenericTree / subtree). How will it be possible?

We have thousands of records in the dealers table. Even if I get a permission to create a familytree table, how I can map the family tree for all those records?

Please advice.
