That's a question about inner FoxPro architecture, specifically what is FP doing under the hood whilst the form is onscreen?
In a webapp, the answer is: nothing except for waiting for the user to enter data and click a submit button: then and only then does something happen with the backend.
If the "form" is just a resultset, then the software has a resultset open, using up mebe a bit, meebe a lot of memory.
Similarly with many native apps.
What's FP doing?
