We have LOTS of tables containing the same material numbers, factory etc but the tables also contains different information depending on department, part of the world etc. Hence the same material number & factory in many many tables.
If the numbers are keys which reference other tabular information, of course they repeat.
To the extent they're non-key duplicates, they're redundant---they represent inefficient table design, and are very likely to cause maintenance headaches and reliability problems.
