I don't understand your point in directing me to the documentation of the MySQL feature.
How does that address any of the issues I have? I cannot use MySQL documentation to get this code operating in a portable manner that will work in all cases on both MySQL and MariaDB, never mind other servers such as Oracle itself, which likewise does not support ANY_VALUE. It does not help me to understand why the feature fails in one case out of eleven. It does not direct me to additional support. It does not advise me on what additional documentation I need to collect to support a problem report.
