I want to have a string like 'xyz\"abc' in my database, but this doesn't seem to work :-(
'xyz\\\"abc' results in 'xyz\\"abc'
'xyz\\"abc' results also in 'xyz\\"abc'
'xyz\"abc' of course results in 'xyz"abc'
'xyz\\ \"abc' produces 'xyz\ "abc' which is not what I want...

Thus, has anybody an idea how to produce the string I want? Or is this a bug in my used version (4.0.20a-nt)?

Erik
