Data truncation errors

I have several <textarea>'s, and they all go to database fields that are set to be LONGTEXT.

For some reason, I get this
" SQLException Database Error. com.mysql.jdbc.MysqlDataTruncation: Data truncation: Data truncated for column 'T2' at row 1 "
error from only one textarea when characters' count goes over 60. Can someone tell me why this is happening and possibly how to fix this, please?
P.S. I tried setting that particular column T2 to VARCHAR(200), when it should really be VARCHAR(100), and also to MEDIUMTEXT - but same error.
