Cannot update a View

Hi there
I am trying to update a view called FINDUKACTIVE which is built from the following select statement:

SELECT * FROM jos_community_fields_values_copy
WHERE User_ID IN (
SELECT User_ID FROM jos_community_fields_values_copy
WHERE field_id='4' AND Value='UK'
) AND User_ID IN (
SELECT User_ID FROM jos_community_fields_values_copy
WHERE field_id='5' AND Value='Active'
)

The view displays perfectly fine. However, I am then trying to update the view as follows.

UPDATE FINDUKACTIVE
SET value='Inactive'
WHERE field_id='5'

However, I receive an error telling me that the target is not updatable. Any ideas why?

Thanks in advance
