Trigger on information_schema.routines

I need to develop functionality based on changes in information_schema.routines. But - when I try to add classic trigger on then object MySQL give me following error: Access denied for user 'root'@'%' do database 'information_schema'.

EDIT: After reading some other topics on this forum I learned that information_schema.routines is View type object.

Is there any chance to hook somewhere with trigger to catch changes in information_schema database ?
