UTF-8 Arabic encoding
I am having trouble trying to understand how to apply UTF-8 encoding so I can insert data to MySQL using PHP. Also, I want to be able to upload doc/txt files (Arabic contents) to the database.
I tried to insert Arabic text to the DB through PHPMyAdmin, it worked.
But not though my PHP script.
I already have the HTML meta tag to include UTF-8 and I can display text in Arabic on the screen.
I appreciate any help.
