Data is being in non readable format, seems like converted to another encoding.
I'm new to programming and MySQL, so sorry if my question is stupid :)
I'm trying to add data to already created table with collation utf8_general_ci.
The data is in russian language and after insertion I see in PHPMyAdmin the following characters: ЖенÑкий
I know I'm doing something wrong, could someone point me to the problem?
The issue really seems like a simple one, I believe even maybe somewhere I have to specify the encoding, but I cant find a clue.
Any help much appreciated.
