Hi Mark:

As Edwin already said, the Migration Wizard is not ready yet for Oracle.

On the other hand is really interesting to see how it would work in such cases. Your report is very useful for us. You put all the details that we need to understand the issue.

If you like to get your hands dirty, locate the file "/Applications/MySQLWorkbench.app/Contents/PlugIns/migration.py" and around line 192, in getSchemaNames replace the line

return self._rev_eng_module.getSchemaNames(self.connection, catalog)

with

return self._rev_eng_module.getSchemaNames(self.connection, catalog or '')

Good luck and please report back how it went.
