May be I was not clear, I need to know if I can do something in order not to loose that space, or if I will loose 4 * number of partitions no mather what.

Of corse there is a reason of using a "sequence" and not a serial, but I don thinks this mather, neither the condition of the partitioning.

I was hopping that, as I know the exact amount of rows in a table ( let say 250 000 ), I cant tell somehow the space the table will need.
